اسکورپیونز       The Scorpions

 گروه هارد راک آلمانی است که با فروش بیش از ۲۵۰ ملیون آلبوم جایگاه خودش را به عنوان یکی از موفق‌ترین گروه‌های راک قاره اروپا ثبت کرده‌است. این گروه از پرفروشترین گروههای راک و همچنین موسیقی به شمار میرود.

رودلف شنکر (آواز و گیتار الکتریک) این گروه را با حضور کارل-هینز فولمر (گیتار لید)، لوتار هیمبرگ (گیتار بیس) و ولفگنگ دزیونی (درام) در سال ۱۹۶۹ در هانوور تشکیل داد. سپس در سال ۱۹۹۱ برادر کوچک شنکر به نام میخایل (گیتار لید) و دوست صمصیمی‌اش کلوز مین (آواز) به گروه پیوستند. در سال ۱۹۷۲ گروه موفق شد اولین آلبومشان را به نام  «Lonesome Crow»  ضبط کند.

اسکورپیونز آهنگهای زیبا و پرطرفدار زیادی از جمله ((Still Loving you)) و ((Are You The One)) و  ((A Moment In A Million Years)) را اجرا کردند که باعث محبوبین آنان گشت.

اسکورپیونز از معدود گروههای راک دنیا میباشد که کنسرت و تورهای بزرگی اجرا میکند.

هرچند اسکورپیینز در دهه ۷۰ میلادی نیز شناخته شده بود (مخصوصآ در ژاپن)، اما بیش از هر چیز با ترانه‌های «Rock You Like a Hurricane» در سال ۱۹۸۴ و «Wind of Change» در سال ۱۹۹۰ به شهرت رسید.
